October Newsletter: FinTechnology becomes FortiTech

The month of October kicks off with some big news here at FinTechnology.

We are excited to announce our merger with another Brisbane based technology firm, The IT TechNinjas.

With this merger also comes a new name, FortiTech.   Whilst there will be a few changes including the brand, some new faces and expanded range of services including a larger focus on cybersecurity, we will still offer the same great service to our clients as we have for the past 5 years.

FortiTech is led by David Williams and Graeme Hobbs. David is the founder of FinTechnology and will take on the Chief Executive Officer and Cyber Security advisor role, whilst Graeme is the founder of The IT TechNinjas and will take on the role of Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer.

FortiTech is an Australian based technology partner specialising in cyber security, IT support and technology projects.

Headquartered in Brisbane, with both national and international clients, we work with businesses who, like us, understand the need for technology to protect their most valuable asset - their data and IP.

We make sure to protect your business through processes, policies and people.

We do this by providing a full suite of cyber security focussed products including helpdesk, cybersecurity advice, Security Awareness Training and backups.

The merger isn’t the only thing we have been busy with recently, check out our latest blogs below to see what else we have been up to, you can also subscribe to our regular newsletters by filling in your details at the bottom of this page.

What are the responsibilities of a Board when it comes to Cybersecurity? In the case of Landmark White, inadequate oversight cost the Board Chairman and half the Board their roles.  Which is why David has been educating the Board's of our clients to ensure the same situation doesn't happen to them.
